On last Friday, me, Mcna and Farah took off before dawn to Bukit Merah Laketown Resort. We went with my car and we took our turn to drive. Actually, we only going there because we planned to go to one of our neighbours' bridgegroom side of the wedding. We going to send her off and Farah is the Cik Andam for that day. The wedding was on 25th January - Sunday.
Well, we were so excited during the trip there...girls holiday trip - can you imagine??
First thing first, when we arrived there, we checked-in to our room which was there at the resort. We only stayed for 1 night. After we had done checking-in and refresh ourselves, we went to the Orang Utan Island. We waited at the jetty - well, actually the boatman waited for us. Hahhaha... because we were busy snapping pictures here and there. Hahhaha.... At the Orang Utan Island, we saw -of course - the orang utan. hehehhee....and we also shrieked with excitement when we saw the baby orang utan. She sooooo....cute. Tomei sangat..but unfortunately we can't touch her because she was in this one special baby care unit room. We can only see her through glass panels.
When we arrived back at the jetty, we headed to the Chairlift Ride. This ride took us high above ground and pass through the water theme park. So we can skodeng-skodeng people from up there laa...hahhahaa..My sis was so nervouse through-out the ride...She's afraid of height. Gayat la orang kata...and she kept on mumbling to herself and me the whole ride. Letih telinga dengar dia membebel2...duk sibuk tanya kenapa benda ni goyang2...why it's so high....selipar dia nak terjatuh laa...macam2 lagi laa... and I can't stop myself from laughing at her. Hehehehe...
Then we went to the Haunted Valley. Dengar nama jer dah taw tempat apa tu kan??? Of course la rumah hantu. Farah and Mcna were the one who wanted to enter it. I couldn't care much. But as soon as we entered the door, Farah already felt scared and wanted to turn back. What the heck kan...dah bayar brapa hinggit tetiba nak keluar gitu jer. We kept on pushing each other to lead first....it took quite awhile. Last2 aku jugak yang masuk dulu sebab malu kat brother yang duk tercongok tunggu kitorg masuk. Farah was behind me...followed by Mcna. Farah grabbed my shirt by the waist and kept on tucking at them the whole journey. Siap berjalan terbongkok2 and tak angkat2 kepala sampai la kesudah. And I also did not hear any voice coming out from her mouth until we had safely came out. Padan la tak dengar suara...rupa-rupanya dia duk baca segala surah2 yang dia taw. Ampes tull...beria2 sangat nak masuk tapi penakut amat. Letih tul layan diorang nieh.
At night we went to Night Hoot activity. It consists of cruising the lake and tour at the ecology park. Quite interesting..after that we had a walk around the area.
Next morning, we had breakfast there and check-out from the hotel. Then we entered the Water Theme Park from 11 o'clock in the morning till 6 p.m . We played and enjoyed ourselves tremendously there. Then we headed to Penang for the next day wedding. Actually it was in Bukit Mertajam. We stayed at The Summit hotel.
On Sunday morning, we got ready and went to the wedding. Farah was the Cik Andam for the bride. She make the bride up at the hotel room and we went to the bridegroom house together. Everything went well and we stayed for a night at the bridegroom aunt's house. Next morning, we headed back home.
